When we introduced TotalCare in 1997, it transformed the engine services landscape. Since then we have continued to evolve TotalCare in response to maturing fleets and changing expectations from our airline and lessor customers. TotalCare now exists in three variants: TotalCare Life, TotalCare Term and TotalCare Flex. SelectCare™ is a new concept that combines long-term shop visit cost protection with a flexible menu of Service Options. We envisage the re-emergence of T&M for a segment of the customer base that wants a more traditional support model. For that segment, these services will be provided directly through our network of AMCs which are totally free to compete for that business.
In order to enable customers to judge which service best meets their needs, we have developed our Services Catalogue, which clearly explains the features of each service. We are confident that when customers are given straight information, they can make an informed choice.
TotalCare Life - Protects asset value for the life of the engine and promotes flexibility by virtue of always being fully-reserved
TotalCare Term - Provides a lower $/EFH rate over fixed calendar term, via a non fully-reserved structure
TotalCare Flex - Provides an adapted / flexed structure to facilitate asset value release for mature engines
Combining a pay at event structure with an engine flying hour rate for the ongoing services
An agreed overhaul price for an engine in a known condition with access to additional services
